So without further ado, let’s introduce the Comod(y) Tie quarter.
Highly absorbent and quick drying for long periods of wear
Have you ever experienced uncomfortable sweaty feet while working or going out in the summer, let alone during sports activities such as marathons and trekking?
The polyester material used in conventional sports socks and everyday socks has low water absorption , so moisture and sweat stay inside the socks, making it feel like a sauna. The humidity is so high that your feet get steamy and soggy.
Comod(y) Tie uses a special polyester material that is highly absorbent so that you can stay comfortable even during sports or long periods of wear. In addition, it also has the quick-drying properties that polyester material has, so the moisture absorbed will evaporate quickly.
You may wonder if such a good idea exists, but the polyester used in Comod(y) Tie is a material developed exclusively by OLENO, and the fiber itself has an irregular cross-section. There is a complex web of spaces that absorb water and spaces that prevent water from entering. (...I know, that's hard to understand.)
In any case, because we have succeeded in achieving both quick-drying and water-absorbing properties , the sticky feeling felt on the skin is reduced even when worn for long periods of time , and a smooth, comfortable fit is maintained .
Improved cushioning reduces impacts from landing, etc.
Did you know that you land on your heels during long-distance runs such as marathons, and during regular running? In short and middle distance races (up to 5km) where speed is the focus, landing on your toes allows you to run faster, so track and field spikes have spikes on the toes.
Because we spend so much of our time walking and running with our heels landing, we wondered if there was any way that socks could provide as much protection as possible, and so we used a pile knitting method on the soles of Comod(y) Tie to increase cushioning.
To explain it in simpler terms, the soles of the feet are made of a cushioned fabric like a gymnastics mat, which reduces the impact of landing on your feet . I think these socks are perfect for people who walk a lot at work or when going out, or for people who run marathons or go trekking (mountain climbing).
The loose design provides a comfortable fit without any tightness while at work or when going out.
There are many socks on the market that are very tight. The reason for this is that tighter socks make you less likely to get tired. Tight socks narrow your blood vessels, improving blood flow and preventing fatigue.
However, if you are out and about for a long time and your whole body is tired, the tightness can actually lead to discomfort and psychological fatigue . To prevent this, Comod(y) Tie is made a little looser so that you can feel it is neither too tight nor too loose .
This concludes our introduction to Comod(y) Tie.
The shoes' moisture absorption and quick-drying properties and cushioning reduce pressure on the feet, making them less uncomfortable even when worn for long periods of time. Additionally, their design is neither too loose nor too tight , making them less likely to tire you physically or psychologically.
Although they have been worn for trail running and marathons, they are also recommended for trekking (mountain climbing) and everyday use (for those who walk for long periods of time), so we encourage you to give them a try.
